&; SAY WHAT?
Miss you!
&; FEEL WHAT? {Sad? Happy? The feeling's bittersweet}
&; HEAR WHAT? {My daddy's singing}
Hey guys,
As Class Chair of 2E '06, I think its really appropriate if I end the school year with a mini speech which I doubt I can make in class, because we're all playing and enjoying ourselves so much :)
Remember the time we all first stepped into 2E? Okay. Rewind a little. Shuwei, Nic and I couldn't find the class, and almost went into 3E. When we went in, it was
noisy, but a very warm and happy feeling spread through all of us. Looking at familiar faces, and not so familiar ones.
When I was saboed into being a class chairperson, I was seriously rather freaked out. I mean -
ME? anyone would laugh to death. I'm the least responsible person around. Yeah which leads to my apology for the constant yelling to get down to the concourse on time [if not face scolding from Mr Low - he told me that we had to be down by 7.15am because everyone did.] and to keep quiet.
As Mr Low puts it, this class has been
challenging. Honestly. I'm not kidding, its not easy trying to put your point across because people are always chattering. But chattering is good, no? Brings joy and happiness :)
Remember Ms Cheah's birthday cake? I almost left it in my fridge that morning. Wasn't it retarded that we started singing the birthday song to no one? Oh gosh, that was seriously funny.
When we sang leaving on a jet plane by improvising lyrics in 10minutes flat? That was pretty awsome. Though I have to confess, she told me that she'll be leaving about a month before she left.
Remember how we sang the birthday song everyday during mr low's lessons? I remember how fed up he was, requesting to see the ICs and all that.
Remember Ms Cheryl Ng, whom no one calls her Ms Ng? She gave Ding and I an A for music, though I must admit that we didn't practise until we sat outside of the classroom. Watching Moulin Rouge and Westside Story during her lessons and asking her about the scandals with Mr Seow?
Talking about him, we never paid serious attention during his lessons. Hmm. I don't wonder why, no offence.
Teachers aside. I've made so many new and close friends this year. Like Rivali and Zoe. Zoe, I really have to thank you for teaching me quadratic graphs. Remember how I started crying in the morning because I couldn't figure out the graphs? Thanks for comforting me and teaching me math :)
Of course, there are so many to go down the line - ria, shakti, lav, vera, ivfen, cheryl, daphie, ding, claire, hui ling, salad, nic, xiao, esther... the next thing you'll know, everyone in 2E will be listed down. hahaha.
Isn't it so weird? many rather exams end immediately. The common sentence along the corridor was "I cannot wait for the exams to end!" But after the exams, we would have very little class bonding time. And for 2E, we have become very very bonded with each other.
In fact, if you think about it, exams were the very things that brought us close together - we mugged hard in the library, cramped on the same table. [Maybe not, but you get my point.]
And now, its time for this year to draw to a close. When the next year comes, we must, and will face it with confidence and happiness, knowing that we have 35 others supporting us, no matter what happens.
